Consor • January 2024 • H/H Modeling Software Evaluation • City of Everett <br />Scope of Work • 1 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Hydraulic and Hydrologic (H/H) Modeling <br />Software Evaluation <br />City of Everett, WA <br />Introduction <br />The City of Everett (City) uses hydraulic and hydrologic (H/H) modeling software to evaluate their separated <br />sewer, combined sewer, and surface water collection and conveyance systems. The City’s current standard <br />H/H modeling platform is InfoSWMM developed by Innovyze. However, due to Innovyze licensing changes, <br />and eventual retirement of InfoSWMM, the City would like to explore other comparable software packages <br />and convert the existing model to the new platform. <br />Project Understanding <br />There are several H/H modeling software platforms that engineers and planners commonly use to evaluate <br />collection and conveyance systems. Software platforms for these analyses often contain similar abilities to <br />simulate system response to dry and wet weather inputs, graph results, and visualize information in a <br />geographic information system (GIS) framework. Platforms can differ in licensing cost, ease of <br />maintenance, and computational engine. The City has requested the Consor (Consultant) compare <br />commercially available software platforms and provide a recommendation for the new software platform <br />that will meet the needs of the City’s sewer and surface water groups. Additionally, Consor will convert the <br />existing model to the newly selected platform. <br />Scope of Services <br />Consultant to perform the following services. <br />Task 1 - Project Management <br />Objective <br />Provide overall leadership and team strategic guidance aligned with City staff objectives. Coordinate, <br />monitor, and control the project resources to meet the technical, communication, and contractual <br />obligations required for developing and implementing the project scope. <br />Activities <br />The Consultant to: <br />Prepare monthly invoices, including expenditures by task, hours worked by project personnel, and <br />other direct expenses with the associated backup documentation.
