• <br /> a <br /> discharge, together with the name and residence of the person a- <br /> dopting or taking away any child. The register herein provid- <br /> ed for shall at all times be open to the inspection of the . om- <br /> missioner of Safety or any of his duly authorized representatives <br /> or agents and the Commissioner or any authorized agent may at <br /> any time enter and inspect the premises wherein such children <br /> are boarded and kept and may inspect the registe_ and may see and <br /> visit such children. <br /> Every person, firm or corporation having charge or con- <br /> trol of any such institution shall, within twenty-four ( 24) <br /> hours after any child is adopted or taken away therefrom as <br /> herein provided, send to the Commissioner of safety a true and <br /> complete copy of the register relating to such child from the <br /> time of its reception to its discharge, and in the event of the <br /> death of any child while an inmate of any such institution the <br /> person, firm or corporation owning or operating the same shall, <br /> within twenty:-four ( 24) hours after the death of such child, fu-r- <br /> fish the commissioner of safety, in addition to the death cer- <br /> tificate required by law, a full and complete copy of the regis- <br /> ter pertaining to such child as required in the case of adopt- <br /> ion or taking away of any child. <br /> Section 4: The Commissioner of Safety shall make such <br /> rules and regulations governing the care and conduct of child- <br /> ren kept in the institution herein referred to as he may from <br /> time to time deem necessary and proper. <br /> Section Any person, firm or corporation violating <br /> any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction <br /> be fined in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars ( < 100.00) , <br /> or imprisoned in the city :jail for a term not exceed, tchirty (30) <br /> days, or may be both fined and imprisoned. <br /> At <br /> i y Clerk. <br /> Passed: October 23, 1928 Published: October 24. 1928. <br />
