The project includes creating a new opening in an existing concrete wall between Unit"A" and <br /> the garage. The wall provides both bearing support and shear resistance for the structure <br /> above. Calculations evaluating the performance of the modified wall should be submitted for <br /> review. Structural drawings modifying the wall should be included in the drawing set. See <br /> IEBC Section 806, and IBC Sections 1604.2 and 1604.4. <br /> 3. Details for the construction of new interior walls should be included in the drawings. The walls <br /> should include top and bottom connections to the supporting structure complying with IBC <br /> Section 1607.15. <br /> This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br /> amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br /> during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br /> requirements.
