, . ,4 t, - ORDINANCE NO. 2365 . - 4 AN Ordinance defining vagrancy and amending Ordinance No. 873 of the city of Everett, as amended by Ordinance No.1742 of the city of Everett, and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN; Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 873 of the city of Everett, as amended by Ordinance No. 1742 of the city of Everett, be amended to read as follows, to-wit: Section 1: Every (1) Person who asks or receives any compensation, gratuity or reward for practicing fortune telling, palmistry or clairvoyance; or • (2) Person who keeps a place where lost or stolen pro- , perty is concealed; or (3) Person practicing or soliciting or keeping a house of prostitution; or (4) Common drunkard, found in any plane where intoxicat- ing liquors are sold or kept for sale, or in an intoxicated con- dition; or (5) Person found in any place or upon any premises where intoxicating liquor is possessed, sold, kept for sale, bartered, exchanged, given away, furnished or other :ise disfosed of con- trary to any of the provisions of Ordinance No. 2157 of the city of Everett, or any amendments thereto. f : Provided, however, that any person found in any 'such place ' or upon any such premises-who is there for a lawful purpose and [ who laes not know and who : oGs not have any reason to be?...ieve › , ' ,. ,,,, intoxicating liquor is possessed, sold, kept for sale, bartered,• • exchanged, given away, furnished or other.ise disposed of con- trary to any of the provisions of Ordinance No. 2157 of the ci- ty of Everett, or any amendments thereto, shall not be deemed ' • guilty of the violation of the above named provisions of this , • „,, 'xi, 0, • sub-division of Sectiona of this Ordinance, ;,411019,4*
