I have attached the associated Code Enforcement Notice and Order (Case
number CE22-1068) for more information.
Generally, accessory dwelling units are allowed in the UR4 zone and new buildings will need to adhere to the standards
listed within EMC 19.08.100 sections B through D. To permit the existing accessory building as an ADU, a separate Land
Use Application is required (a Review Process 1) and an Accessory Dwelling Unit Application with an Accessory Dwelling
Unit Checklist will need to be completed.
Please let me know how you wish to proceed.
Note: these requirements are only in relation to the land use code and do not account for all possible requirements from
other departments. Please contact Permit Services at PermitServices@everettwa.gov or 425.257.8810 if you have
additional permitting questions.
Thank you,
- Teddi McFall
Associate Planner I Community, Planning & Economic Development
425.257.8810, option 3 1 3200 Cedar Street 2nd Fl., Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
Note: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to
the Public Records Act.
From: Martin Reimers <MReimers@conceptarchitecture.com>
Sent: Wednesday, May 17, 2023 4:25 PM
To: Teddi McFall <TMcFall@everettwa.gov>
Subject: [EXTERNAL] Re: B2303-070 - 2410 Everett Ave - Planning Comments
CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. I will modify the drawings, however, we understood the accessory building
was an ADU originally and that it has always been conditioned space. Can it be an ADU as part of this
submittal?
