The purpose of our site visit <br /> was to look at the west side of the building-5, where certain repairs were done back in <br /> 2020 and provide you with a proposed repair plan based on information provided <br /> to us by the contractor. <br /> Building-5 is a three-story wood frame building with vinyl siding that was built on or <br /> about 1990 over conventional foundation. Please see appendix-A for the key plan. <br /> BUILDING-5 (BLDG-El: <br /> The following is a repair plan based on problems on the west side of the building at <br /> second floor due to moisture presence in 2020, as communicated to us by the <br /> contractor. <br /> 1- Repair 2x10 floor joists with end damage as shown in Appendix-B. Add 2x10x5' <br /> joists on each side and attach to the existing floor joists with %" diameter <br /> machine bolts and washers at 6" on center, staggered at 1/3 points from top and <br /> bottom.
