0 • <br /> 2- Repair damaged 2x6 exterior studs by removing damaged area and adding new <br /> 2x6 stud with 10dx3" nails at 6" on center staggered next to the existing stud. <br /> 3- Remove and replace any damaged gypsum sheeting on the exterior. <br /> 4- Remove and replace any damaged wall plates and rim joists at the exterior wall <br /> at second floor. Add Simpson LSTA24 strap to tie existing plates and rim joist to <br /> the new framing. <br /> 5- Remove and replace dryer vent with proper flashing. This was the main source of <br /> the water instruction according to the contractor. <br /> 6- All removed insulation, siding shall be replaced to match existing. <br /> The purpose of this report is to assist you in making certain decision regarding the <br /> above-described building. Our discussions are based on information provided by the <br /> contractor and experience and judgement of our office staff. There was no material <br /> testing, destructive investigation or other work for hidden conditions performed by our <br /> office.
