<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ________ <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, “Forest Park Pickleball Court <br />Installation”, Fund 354, Program 093, to accumulate all design and permitting costs for the project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve City Park amenities. <br /> <br />B. The City Council recognizes the value and need to provide Everett residents and visitors with <br />recreation spaces. <br /> <br />C. The City recognizes that many park amenities have reached the end of their useful life and require <br />replacement and renovation. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled “Forest Park Pickleball Court <br />Installation”, Fund 354, Program 093. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of design and permitting is $250,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $250,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 093, “Forest Park <br />Pickleball Court Installation” project. <br /> <br />A.
