r • <br /> the right of said statement, to-wit: <br /> IN FAVOR of the proposition of issuing bonds of said <br /> city of Everett in the amount of not to exceed 50,000.00) <br /> for the purpose of paying said city' s share of the cost of the <br /> improvement of the following described roadway, to-wit : <br /> Beginning at the south line of 21st Street; thence northerly <br /> along the Norton Avenue extension to a point opposite the <br /> Irving-Daugherty Mill at Blackman' s Point, said improvement <br /> to consist of clearing, removal of old lumber, construction <br /> of a bulkhead, and rip rap where necessary, hydraulic fill; <br /> also construction of a one-course Portland cement concrete <br /> pavement, removal of old trestle, installation of necessary <br /> drainage, erectin of guardrailing, making necessary water <br /> main changes and doing all other work to make a complete im- <br /> provement in accordance with plans to be prepared by the city <br /> engineer, also the cost of acquiring by purchase or condem- <br /> nation, or both, any right-of-way necessary for the construc- <br /> tion of such improvement . <br /> Every voter at such election desiring to vote against said <br /> proposed issue of bonds for said above mentioned proposition as <br /> described in this ordinance, shall vote a ballot containing the fol- <br /> lowing statement of the proposition, by placing an "X" in the square <br /> on said ballot opposite and to the right of said statement , to-wit: <br /> AGAINST the proposition of issuing bonds of said <br /> city of Everett in the amount of not to exceed y50,000.00 <br /> for the purpose of paying said city's share of the cost of <br /> the improvement of the following described roadway, to-wit : <br /> Beginning at the south line of 21st Street; thence norther- <br /> ly along the Norton Avenue Extension to a point opposite the <br /> Irving-Daugherty Mill at Blackman's Point, said improvement <br /> to consist of clearing, removal of old lumber, construction <br /> -3- <br />
