An Ordinance submitting to the voters of the city of Ev- erett a prtopositi3n for issuing bonds of said city to the amount of not to 4xceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars (4150, 000.00 ) for the purpose of acquiring by purchase or condemnation, or both, lands as a site for and for the construction of a city hail and, for the complete furnishing of the same, providing for the holding of an election at which the qualified voters of the city of Everett may vote for or against said proposition. TE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: • Section l: The City Council of the city of Everett does • hereby propose to the voters of said city the proposition of ac- quiring by purchase or condemnation, or loth, lands to be used as a site for a city hall, and for the construction of a new ci- ty hall on said site, for the complete furnishing of the same and for the issuance of bonds to raise funds for said proposi- tion. It is proposed that the city acquire by purchase or con- demnation, or both, a tract or tracts of land to be used as a site for a new city hall, the selection of the exact location of said tract or tracts to be left to the discretion of the City Council. That the city use the surplus remaining out of the funds raised from the said issuance of bonds in said sum of not to ex- ceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars ( 150,000.00 ) (over and above the sum necessary to secure the necessary laud as a site for said city hall, or as much thereof as may be necessary, for the construction of a new city hall and for the complete furnish- ing of the same.
