410 provided by statute, its serial negotiable coupon bonds, matur- ing as hereinafter provided, and numbered from one (1) upward, consecutively, in a sum not to exceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars ( 150,000.00) , for the purpose of raising funds to car- ry into effect the foregoing proposition. Said bonds shall bear interest at not to exceed the rate of six per cent (6%) per an- num, said interest to be paid semi-annually; that the various an- nual maturities of said bonds shall commence with the second year after the date of issue and shall, as nearly as pract ic-. able, be in such amounts as will, together with interest on all outstanding bonds, be met by an equal annual tax levy for the pay- ment of said bonds and interest. Said bonds shall run for a per- iod of twenty (20 ) years and shall be of the denomination ,of five hundred dollars ( 4500.00 ) each, and shall be payable at the office of the city treasurer of Everett, Snohomish County, Washington; or at the office of the State Fiscal Agency of the State of Wa- shingtone said bonds shall be payable out of a sinking fund, as provided by law. Section 3: That said proposition be submitted to the voters of Everett at the general municipal election to be held in said city of Everett on December 3, 1927, and that notices of said election and of the submission of said proposition shall be given as provided by law. Section 4: The propositior.. submitted shall be voted on in the following manner, to-wit: Each voter at such election desiring to vote in favor of said proposed issue of bonds for said above mentioned propo- sition as described in this ordinance and for the acquiring of a site for and the construction of said city hall and for the complete furnishing of the same, as set out in this ordinance, shall vote a ballot containing the following statement of the proposition by placing an "In in the square on said ballot oppo- -2-
