410 <br /> provided by statute, its serial negotiable coupon bonds, matur- <br /> ing as hereinafter provided, and numbered from one (1) upward, <br /> consecutively, in a sum not to exceed one hundred fifty thousand <br /> dollars ( 150,000.00) , for the purpose of raising funds to car- <br /> ry into effect the foregoing proposition. Said bonds shall bear <br /> interest at not to exceed the rate of six per cent (6%) per an- <br /> num, said interest to be paid semi-annually; that the various an- <br /> nual maturities of said bonds shall commence with the second <br /> year after the date of issue and shall, as nearly as pract ic-. <br /> able, be in such amounts as will, together with interest on all <br /> outstanding bonds, be met by an equal annual tax levy for the pay- <br /> ment of said bonds and interest. Said bonds shall run for a per- <br /> iod of twenty (20 ) years and shall be of the denomination ,of five <br /> hundred dollars ( 4500.00 ) each, and shall be payable at the office <br /> of the city treasurer of Everett, Snohomish County, Washington; <br /> or at the office of the State Fiscal Agency of the State of Wa- <br /> shingtone said bonds shall be payable out of a sinking fund, as <br /> provided by law. <br /> Section 3: That said proposition be submitted to the <br /> voters of Everett at the general municipal election to be held <br /> in said city of Everett on December 3, 1927, and that notices of <br /> said election and of the submission of said proposition shall <br /> be given as provided by law. <br /> Section 4: The propositior.. submitted shall be voted on <br /> in the following manner, to-wit: <br /> Each voter at such election desiring to vote in favor <br /> of said proposed issue of bonds for said above mentioned propo- <br /> sition as described in this ordinance and for the acquiring of <br /> a site for and the construction of said city hall and for the <br /> complete furnishing of the same, as set out in this ordinance, <br /> shall vote a ballot containing the following statement of the <br /> proposition by placing an "In in the square on said ballot oppo- <br /> -2- <br />
