Inspection and sediment removal shall be performed on all ESC <br />facilities, as described in the following inspection schedule. The CESCL (BMP C160) shall be <br />responsible for inspecting the CSWPPP BMPs. <br />Erosion control facilities shall not be allowed to fall into disrepair. All ESC facilities shall be <br />inspected, at a minimum, according to the following schedule. <br />Dry Season: Once a week. <br />Wet Season: Daily and after every storm event that produces runoff. <br />Needed repairs shall be made within 24 hours or immediately if possible. If necessary, the <br />Engineer of Record or City will instruct the Contractor to provide additional facilities as warranted <br />during field inspections. <br />The following inspection/maintenance schedules shall be utilized to ensure the ESC facilities are <br />functioning as designed: <br />Construction Entrances (BMP C105) <br />The construction entrances shall be inspected once a week during the dry season and after <br />every rainfall event during the wet season. If the entrance is not preventing sediment from <br />being tracked onto adjacent pavement, then alternate measures to keep the pavement free <br />of sediment shall be used. This may include street sweeping, an increase in the dimension <br />of the entrance, or the installation of a wheel wash. <br />Any quarry spalls that are loosened from the pad that end up on the roadway shall be <br />removed immediately.
