Any additional items will be added to the contract through a documented contract amendment. <br />The Supplier shall not affect any change without the prior written approval of the City of Everett <br />Procurement Professional. <br />Pricing will be requested from all contracted suppliers for the item most similar provided that such <br />products are typically furnished by the supplier to provide an equal opportunity of future awards. <br />2.6 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS <br />The city intends to purchase the quantity listed in this solicitation. However, additional requirements may <br />arise. The Supplier agrees to sell additional units at the price listed for the remaining term of the contract. <br />In addition, the City of Everett reserves the right to make changes, additions to, or deductions from these <br />specifications provided that they conform to the general Specifications. The Supplier shall not affect any <br />change without the prior written approval of City of Everett. <br />2.7 PRICING AND DELIVERY <br />Prices shall include delivery and be F.O.B. Destination: <br />City of Everett <br />Water Filtration Plant <br />6133 Lake Chaplain Road <br />Monroe, WA 98272 <br />• The supplier assumes responsibility for the delivery of all equipment quoted. <br />• Suppliers must certify that the quoted equipment can be delivered within the stated number of days <br />on their quote. <br />• For evaluation purposes, prices must include sales or use tax per: https://dor.wa.gov/find-taxes- <br />rates/use-tax <br />2.8 PRICING ADJUSTMENTS <br />Prices shall remain firm for the duration of the initial contract period. Reasonable price changes based on market <br />conditions and price or cost analysis may be made after the initial contract period. The supplier shall supply <br />documentation satisfactory to the City of Everett such as documented changes to the Producers Price Index for <br />the commodity, the Consumer Price Index for the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue area, or a manufacturer’s published <br />modification of price change(s). <br />The City of Everett will evaluate this information to determine if revising the price is considered fair and <br />reasonable to the satisfaction of the City. Requests for any such change are to be made in writing to the <br />Procurement Division. A written contract amendment will be issued by the City which will institute the price <br />adjustment, provide the new prices and establish the effective date for the new prices.
