Unpowered Contacts <br />• Full Digital Communications <br />• Output for Remote LED (Customer -Supplied) <br />• CLASS B Initiating Device Circuit <br />DESCRIPTION <br />The SmartOnee Addressable Contact Input Device (AI) is an intelligent <br />field device with its own microprocessor and memory which interfaces to <br />all standard contact type fire alarm devices. The Initiating Device Circuit <br />(IDC) is wired as one CLASS B NFPA 72 circuit. <br />The type of contact monitored is selectable through a jumper to monitor <br />N.O. (Normally Open) or N.C. (Normally Closed) devices. <br />FIELD PROGRAMMING <br />CLASS B Addressable Input modules are interchangeable with existing <br />Addressable Input modules in the field. The module's Signaling Line <br />Circuit (SLC) address is set in the same manner as all SmartOne <br />devices. System address, owner location message and reporting type <br />are programmable via the compatible control unit configuration software <br />program. The system address is a 3-digit number that uniquely identifies <br />each device. The owner location message is a 40-character, alpha <br />numeric message that describes the location of the device. The reporting <br />type is assigned to the Al based on the functionality of the device being <br />monitored. <br />SUPERVISION <br />The Al continuously monitors the integrity of the following: <br />• Continuity of contact interface wiring <br />• Device/panel communications <br />• Power/communications voltage <br />• Internal power supply <br />• Memory data <br />STATUS LED <br />A remote status LED may be connected to the Al. <br />ORDERING INFORMATION <br />Description <br />Part Number <br />1.
