SECTION 02370 <br /> EROSION CONTROL <br /> PART1 GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SCOPE <br /> The work specified in this Section includes the temporary erosion and <br /> sedimentation control (TESC) in and around the site caused by the actions of the <br /> Contractor as shown on the Plans and as specified herein. <br /> Work under this Section shall be directed towards site areas disturbed during <br /> construction as well as all off-site storage and parking areas maintained by the <br /> Contractor. <br /> 1.2 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br /> Section Item <br /> 01160 Regulatory Requirements <br /> 01200 Measurement and Payment <br /> 01300 Submittals <br /> 02240 Dewatering <br /> 02300 Earthwork <br /> 1.3 CERTIFIED EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL LEAD (CESCL) <br /> The Contractor shall designate a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead <br /> (CESCL) for this project. The CESCL shall have, for the life of this Contract, a <br /> current Certificate of Training in Construction Site Erosion and Spill Control. <br /> Duties of the CESCL shall include, but are not limited to: <br /> A. Inspecting temporary erosion and spill control Best Management Practice <br /> (BMPs) for proper location, installation, maintenance, and repair. <br /> Inspections shall be made as noted on the Plans and after each significant <br /> precipitation event, including those that occur during weekends and after <br /> working hours. A Temporary Erosion and Spill Control Inspection Report <br /> shall be prepared for each inspection and shall be included in the <br /> Temporary Erosion and Spill Control file. The inspection report shall <br /> include,but not be limited to: <br /> 1. When BMPs are installed, removed or changed; <br /> 2.
