California Street Parking Lot
Stormwater Site Plan Report
Minimum Requirement#6: Runoff Treatment: The project propose new parking lot area will replace
about 12,250 sf of hard surface. The parking lot will be considered pollution generation hard surface
(PGHS); however, the stormwater runoff will discharge to a combined sewer/stormwater and thus will
be treated by the city. Prior to discharge from the site a catch basin with a floatable materials separator
and gas trap (per COE standard drawing 414) shall be provided.
Minimum Requirement#7: Flow Control: The proposed development will create and/or replace about
12,524 sf(0.287 ac) of hard (impervious) surface, thus meeting the 10,000 sf threshold for flow control.
However, the project site is located within the City's combined sewer/stormwater area of the City. In
accordance with the City's current policy for stormwater control in combined sewer/stormwater areas
(Policy#2-11)the evaluation of the existing site conditions can be considered the existing site conditions
(not forested land). The current site is completely covered by hard surface; therefor the site
development will not increase the runoff flows due to the site development. In fact, the site will add
some vegetated landscape areas and thus will reduce the runoff flows to the City system.
Minimum Requirement#8: Wetlands Protection: No known wetlands or wetland buffers are located on
or adjacent to the site.
Minimum Requirement#9: Operation and Maintenance: An operation and maintenance summary is
provided in Section 8 of this report.
Job#19-035 Page 1-3
RAM Engineering, Inc.
