intention of the driver to stop or turn such vehicle and approved by the commission on equipment of the State of Washington may be used. (g) 2111 vehicles operated on the streets, alleys or other .pub- lic places in this city vhich are so constructed that hand and arm signals given by the driver are not visible at the rear of said ve- hicle, must be equipped with a suitable mechanical or electrical device approved by the said commission on equipment capable of dis- playing unmistakable signals as to the intention of the driver to stop or turn such vehicle. (h) It shall be unlawful to transport any living animal on the running board, fenders, hood or other out s ide part of any v e- hicle unless suitable harness, cage, carrier or guard rail be pro- via ed and so attached as to reasonably protect such animal from falling or being thrown therefrom.
