w (e) "Owner." A person Who holds the legal title of a vehicle, or in the event of a vehicle is the subject of an agreement for the conditional sale or lease thereof with the right to purchase upon performance of the conditions stated in the agreement and with an immediate right of possession vested in the conditional vendee or lessee, or in the event a mortgagor of a vehicle is entitled to possession, then such conditional vendee or lessee or mortgagor shall be deemed the owner for the purpose of this act. f.ilso in- cluding any person, firm, corporation or association renting a motor- vehicle or having the exclusive use thereof, under a lease or other- wise, for a period of greater than 30 days. (f) "Person." Every natural person, firm, copartnership, association or corporation. (g) "Parked. " Shall mean a waiting vehicle placed a an angle to the curb. (h) "Standing. " Shall mean a waiting vehicle dram parallel to the curb. (i) "Street ." Shall include all or any portion of the pub- lic highways and other places of the city of Everett open to the public for the use of vehicles. (j ) "Trailer." Any vehicle without motive power which is at- tached to a motor vehicle for the purpose of being drawn or propel- led by such motor vehicle . (k) "Intersection. " The area embraced within the prolong- ation of the lateral curb lines or, if none, then the lateral boundary lines of two or more streets which join one another at an angle, whether or not one such street crosses the other. (1) "Residence District. " The territory contiguous to a street riot comprising a business district when the frontage on such street for a distance of three hundred feet or more is mainly occupied by dwellings or by dwellings and buildings in use for business. (m) "Business District. " The territory contiguous to a street w1- n fifty per cent or more of the frontage thereon, for a distance of three hundred feet or more is occupied by buildings in -2-
