of a vehicle to drive the same at a speed not exceeding the follow- <br /> ing: <br /> 1. Fifteen miles an hour in traversing a grade crossing of <br /> any steam, electric or street railway when the driver' s view is <br /> obstructed. A driver' s view shall be deemed to be obstructed <br /> when at any time during the last one hundred feet of his appraoch <br /> to such crossing he does not have a clear and uninterrupted view of <br /> such railway crossing and of any traffic on such railway for a <br /> distance of four hundred feet in both directions from such cross- <br /> ing; rrovided, That all vehicles transporting passengers for hire <br /> or transporting school children over the public streets, alleys or <br /> other public places in the city of Everett shall stop before travers- <br /> ing such grade crossing. Whenever any person driving a vehicle ap- <br /> proaches an interurban or steam railway grade crossing and a clear- <br /> ly visible and positive signal gives warning of the immediate ap- <br /> proach of a railway train r car, it shall be unlawful for the <br /> driver of the vehicle to fail to bring the vehicle to a complete <br /> stop before traversing such grade crossing. <br /> 2. Fifteen miles an hour in traversing an intersection of <br /> streets, alleys or other public places in the city of Everett when <br /> the driver' s view is obstructed. A driver' s view shall be deemed to <br /> be obstructed when at any time •during the last one hundred feet of <br /> his approach to such intersection he doentt have a clear and <br /> uninterrupted view of such intersection and of the traffic upon all <br /> of the streets, alleys or other public places entering such inter- <br /> section for a distance of three hundred feet from such intersection. <br /> 3. Fifteen miles an hour in traversing or going around curves <br /> or corners of a street, alley or other public place when the driv- <br /> er' s view is obstructed within a distance of two hundred. feet along <br /> such street, alley or other public place in the direction in which <br /> he is proceeding. <br />
