' I <br /> other public place in the city of Everett at a greater rate of <br /> speed than 8 miles per hour. <br /> It shall be unlawful to operate or drive any vehicle or com- <br /> bination of vehicles equipped with metal tires over or on any street, <br /> alley or other public place in the city of Everett at a greater <br /> speed than the following: <br /> 2, 500 pounds gross weight , including <br /> load, or less 10 miles per hour. <br /> ever 2, 500 pounds gross weight, includ- <br /> ing load, and not over 7,000 <br /> pounds gross weight, including load 6 miles per hour. <br /> It shall be unlawful to operate any motor truck or combination <br /> of vehicles on a descending grade by throwing out the clutch and <br /> coasting. <br /> Section 6: Every owner or operator of any vehicle so con- <br /> structed or loaded as to prevent an unobstructed view directly to <br /> the rear, used on the public streets, alleys or other public places <br /> of the city of Everett, shall equip such vehicle with a mirror or <br /> other device to enable the driver thereof to have such clear and <br /> unobstructed view of the rear as will enable him to obey the "rules <br /> of the road" and traffic regulations when overtaken by any other ve- <br /> hicle . <br /> Section 7: It shall be unlawful for any person to drive any <br /> vehicle upon a street, alley or other public place in the city of Ev- <br /> erett with any sign, poster, card, sticker or other non-transparent <br /> material upon the front windshield, side wings, side or rear windows <br /> of such motor vehicle other than a certificate or other device re- <br /> quired to be so displayed by law. <br /> Every windshield. on a motor vehicle shall be equipped with a <br /> device for cleaning rain, snow or other moisture from an exterior <br /> portion of the windshield sufficient to afford the operator clear <br /> vision ahead, which device shall be controlled or operated by the <br /> driver of the motor vehicle. <br /> 2 <br />
