es; Maple Street from Hewitt Avenue south to the end of the present walks south of 32nd Street be improved by the construc- tion of one course Portland cement concrete pavement 25 feet wide and concrete curbs; and Pacific Avenue from Pine Street to Maple Street be improved by construction of two 18-foot wide strips of one course Portland cement concrete pavement and con.- crete curbs and walks, and doing all other wo4 on the entire district necessary to make a complete improvement according to the plans and specifications, prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment dis- trict herein created in accordance with law. The city of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement, except as provided in chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923 and Ordinance No. 2126 of the city of Everett. Section 3: There is hereby established a Local Improvement District to be called Local Improvement District No. 444 , which district shall include the following described property, to-wit: Lots 1 to 5, Inc.
