es; Maple Street from Hewitt Avenue south to the end of the <br /> present walks south of 32nd Street be improved by the construc- <br /> tion of one course Portland cement concrete pavement 25 feet <br /> wide and concrete curbs; and Pacific Avenue from Pine Street <br /> to Maple Street be improved by construction of two 18-foot wide <br /> strips of one course Portland cement concrete pavement and con.- <br /> crete curbs and walks, and doing all other wo4 on the entire <br /> district necessary to make a complete improvement according to <br /> the plans and specifications, prepared under the direction of <br /> the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted <br /> and approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, <br /> including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by <br /> and assessed against the property included in the assessment dis- <br /> trict herein created in accordance with law. The city of Everett <br /> shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and <br /> expenses of such improvement, except as provided in chapter 141, <br /> Session Laws of 1923 and Ordinance No. 2126 of the city of Everett. <br /> Section 3: There is hereby established a Local Improvement <br /> District to be called Local Improvement District No. 444 , which <br /> district shall include the following described property, to-wit: <br /> Lots 1 to 5, Inc. Block 695, Swalwell' s 2nd Addition. <br /> Lots 27 to 30, Inc. Block 695, Swalwell' s 2nd Addition. <br /> F.36,37 to 70, Inc. Block 695, Everett Land Co. 's lst Add. <br /> A strip of land lying between the north line of Lot 70, Block <br /> 695, Everett Land Co. ' s 1st Add. , and the north line of Ev- <br /> erett Land Co. ' s let add. <br /> Lots 6 to 13, Inc. & F.14 Block 696, Swalwell' s 2nd Addition. <br /> A strip of land lying between the north line of Lot 31, Block <br /> 696, Everett Land Co. ' s let Add. , and the south line of Swal- <br /> well's 2nd Add. <br /> Lots 31 to 5G, Inc. Block 696, Everett Land Co. ' s 1st Add, <br /> 1-2 & F.3 & 11 ,o 30, Bloch 750, Everett Land Co.
