<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ________ <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, “Thornton A. Sullivan Park Floating <br />Dock Repairs,” Fund 354, Program 100, to accumulate all design, engineering, and permitting costs for <br />the project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve City Park amenities. <br /> <br />B. The City Council recognizes the value and need to provide Everett residents and visitors with <br />recreation spaces. <br /> <br />C. The City recognizes that the floating docks at T.A. Sullivan Park are in need of repairs and <br />maintenance. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled “Thornton A. Sullivan Park <br />Floating Dock Repairs,” Fund 354, Program 100. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks <br />and performing all necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of design and permitting is $40,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $30,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 100, “Thornton A. <br />Sullivan Park Floating Dock Repairs,” project. <br /> <br />A.
