During an earlier inspection,on 12/4/2023,Chief Inspector Banks observed the service <br /> panels for the duplex had been altered without permits and in a non-compliant manner.The separate <br /> service for the garage structure had been terminated by PUD,and the meter removed.Chief Inspector <br /> Banks further determined the only electrical inspection approvals found since the property was <br /> developed were the service for the detached garage in 1982 and the panel changes on the duplex in <br /> 1983. <br /> A records search of code enforcement history confirmed the garage structure had been previously <br /> modified without permits,converting the garage into a dwelling unit and office space.The Hearing <br /> Examiner Order for case CE12-0704 required vacation of the structure and that the owner,Samual <br /> Challea,gain permits and complete work and approvals to restore the structure to a lawful garage. <br /> Notice and Order Page 1 of 6 <br />
