REPORT SUMMARY <br /> ONE- <br /> 1) General Information <br /> a) This report is based on actual field readings taken during operation unless otherwise noted. <br /> Work was completed on: October 5th, 2022 <br /> b) Equipment is inspected for proper and safe operation unlessn d in t summary or the <br /> associated data contain herein <br /> c) Work requiring adjustments will be performed to+/-10%o?'t desig a unless other <br /> specifications require increased/decreased tolerances and approval by the Engineer of <br /> Record (EOR) or Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Flow rates were measured with <br /> calibrated instruments and are listed on the tool summary <br /> d) All suggestions to further improve performance or function need to be fully vetted and <br /> verified by all interested parties (i.e. Engineer, Owner,Tenant, Contractor) <br /> e) Deficiencies noted throughout this report are the responsibility of the parties having an <br /> interest in them and are not to be corrected by the TAB team unless instructed in the <br /> contract documents. Notes are added for clarification as applicable <br /> f) Design information is drawn from various sources to include, but not limited to: Drawings, <br /> specifications, user manuals, shop drawings, submittals, service history, legacy documents, <br /> and oral & photographic information.Additionally, unspecified values may be field <br /> determined as required in the absence of engineered values, based on current best <br /> practices ` <br /> 1) Scope of the Project(Overview) <br /> a) Inspection of(1 AV u�a (2) exhaust fans for proper installation and safe <br /> operation. <br /> b) Verify airflows and offer suggestions as required. <br /> c) Correct any deficiencies if possible. <br /> d) Provide the owner with a certified TAB report demonstrating the actual airflow. <br /> 2) System Description <br /> a) 10 fan powered VAV boxes <br /> b) 2 exhaust fans <br /> 3) Findings <br /> RTU not running at the time of balancing, couldn't calibrate primary air. <br /> There is no control point written into the Alerton controls for K-factor. <br /> RTU serving the space in question is not communicating to the controls system at the time of <br /> balancing. <br /> 2 VAV fans not running, need repairs. <br /> All filters were fully impacted and starving the VAV fans,filters have been left out for balancing. <br /> Exhaust outlets covered in plywood and louvers not installed. <br /> 2 VAV units are set at lowest fan speed and are+10%design CFM <br /> 1 •i 98032 • • • <br />
