Do not click links or open attachments unless you <br />recognize the sender and know the content is safe. <br />Hello, <br />My name is Dr. Andrew Sholudko and I recently submitted plans forTI improvements in a building I purchased and it <br />appears they are looking to charge traffic mitigation fees in the amount of $10,356.00. The architect said that the fees <br />are based on a change of use for the space that is being taken over by my business and that if it was a documented <br />dental office space prior to the submittal, that he does not think the city is justified in charging that fee. He suggested I <br />discuss with the city traffic engineer since you are the only one able to change that fee. <br />My office building is 1083019th Ave SE, Everett, WA 98208.When I purchased the building in 2020, my dental business <br />(Silver Lake Dental Care) was (and is) operating out of Suite A, Dynamic Dental Arts was operating out of Suite B (And <br />before that a chiropractor was operating in that space), Suite D was Pacific Orthodontic Lab, and Suite C was <br />Tranquil Dental Lab. The building is part of the Silver Lake Dental Health Center complex and is made up of all <br />medical/dental office spaces. The entire building was all dental/medical office space before and will be staying <br />dental/medical office space going forward. There is no substantial change in the use of the space. The same amount of <br />traffic will be coming to our space (probably less), because the other 3 businesses in the building each had 10+staff <br />members plus clients coming to their offices. <br />Please take a moment to re-evaluate this traffic mitigation fee and let me know how I should proceed.
