GeoTest Services, Inc.
2405 Hillside Lane, Everett, WA
October 8, 2021
Project No. 21-0845
Tiered landscaping walls are proposed for the rear (southern) yards of Lots 2 and 3. These walls
will be a maximum height 4 feet of less and assumed to not carry a surcharge. Each wall is
proposed to be set back at a horizontal distance greater than the height of the lowest tiered wall.
SITE CONDITIONS
This section includes a description of the general surface and subsurface conditions observed at
the project site during the time of our field investigation. Interpretations of site conditions are
based on the results and review of available information, site reconnaissance, subsurface
explorations, laboratory testing, and previous experience in the project vicinity.
Surface Conditions
The rectangular subject property is located west of 24t" Ave. W. and south of W. Mukilteo
Boulevard in Everett, WA. The property is bordered on all sides by single-family residences. The
parcel currently is comprised of an approximate 32-foot-high slope. This slope descends to the
north towards Mukilteo Boulevard. From the south property line, the grade generally slopes to
the north at an average inclination of approximately 12 percent. The slope gradient of Lots 2 and
3 is approximately 15 to 16 percent on average. The subject parcel appears to have some relict
grading from road construction and is otherwise overgrown by tall grass and blackberries. There
is a large glacial -erratic boulder on the south -center side of the private road.
Image 1.
