2024 Pavement Maintenance Overlay SPECIAL PROVISIONS PW# 3823 15 1 F1-05.14.OPT1.DOCX 2 (March 13, 1995) 3 Other Contracts Or Other Work 4 It is anticipated that the following work adjacent to or within the limits of this project will 5 be performed by others during the course of this project and will require coordination of 6 the work: 7 8 *** 9 10 • Fulton Street Bicycle and Pedestrian Corridor project is adjacent to the Work on 11 Pacific Ave at Fulton Ave. 12 13 14 *** 15 16 1-05.16.RTF 17 Add the following new section: 18 19 1-05.16 Water and Power 20 (October 1, 2005 APWA GSP) 21 22 The Contractor shall make necessary arrangements, and shall bear the costs for power 23 and water necessary for the performance of the work, unless the contract includes power 24 and water as a pay item. 25 26 1-06.GR1 27 Control of Material 28 29 1-06.6.RTF 30 1-06.6 Recycled Materials 31 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) 32 33 Delete this section, including its subsections, and replace it with the following: 34 35 The Contractor shall make their best effort to utilize recycled materials in the construction 36 of the project. Approval of such material use shall be as detailed elsewhere in the 37 Standard Specifications. 38 39 Prior to Physical Completion the Contractor shall report the quantity of recycled materials 40 that were utilized in the construction of the project for each of the items listed in Section 41 9-03.21. The report shall include hot mix asphalt, recycled concrete aggregate, recycled 42 glass, steel furnace slag and other recycled materials (e.g. utilization of on-site material 43 and aggregates from concrete returned to the supplier). The Contractor’s report shall be 44 provided on DOT form 350-075 Recycled Materials Reporting. 45
