CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS Water Main Replacement “Y” – Ph 1 Div B – BID ITEM DESCRIPTIONS March 2024 Work Order No. UP 3814 SP-38 edges, furnishing and placing polyethylene film or building paper, furnishing and placing the cement concrete all in accordance with standard specification section 5-01. Bid Item A41, B39, C35 - Cement Concrete Sidewalk Restoration Specification Section 8-14 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY) Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the Inspector and adjacent property owner prior to removal. The unit price per square yard for restoration of existing concrete sidewalks shall be full compensation for final sawcut and all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. Bid Item A42, B40, C36 - Cement Concrete Driveway Restoration Specification Section 8-06 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard (SY) Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the Inspector prior to removal. The unit price per square yard for restoration of existing concrete driveways shall be full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions. Removal and disposal of existing driveway and base materials is also included in this item. Bid Item A43, B41, C37 - Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter, Type A-1 Bid Item B42 - Cement Concrete Curb, Type E-1 Bid Item A44 - Cement Concrete Curb, Integral Specification Section 8-04 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF) Measurement shall be per linear foot as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the Inspector prior to removal. The unit price per linear foot for restoration of concrete curbs or curb and gutter and shall be full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal. Bid Item A45 - Cement Concrete Curb Ramp, Type C Specification Section 8-14 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA) The unit Contract price per each for “Cement Concrete Curb Ramp, Type C” shall be full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal, and including the adjacent pedestrian curb and “Detectable Warning Surface.”
