Details for the bathroom grab bars should be provided in the plans per IRC Section R330.8. The details <br /> should include installation of blocking in the walls capable of supporting a minimum 200-pound load per <br /> IRC Table R301.5. <br /> 7. The proposed project may include structural work. Structural drawing should be submitted that include <br /> framing plans, sections, details, construction schedules, fastening schedules, materials requirements, <br /> general notes, special inspection requirements, etc. The drawings should substantiate compliance with <br /> the prescriptive requirements of the IRC. See IRC Sections R106.1.1 and R301.1. <br /> 8. Details for the construction of the new walls should be included. The details should specify connections <br /> for the top and bottom framing plates to the existing structure. See IRC Sections R106.1.1 and R301.1. <br /> 9. A general fastener schedule should be provided per IRC Table R602.3(1). Providing a reference to this <br /> table in the drawings does not satisfy this requirement. In addition, the make and model of proprietary <br /> hardware should be specified where used for connections. <br /> Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been <br /> submitted.
