Administrative Authority - Administrative Authority is the individual <br /> official, board, department, or agency established and authorized by a state, <br /> county, city or other political subdivision created by law to administer and enforce <br /> the provisions of the plumbing code as adopted or amended. <br /> and inserting it its place: <br /> Administrative Authority - The Administrative Authority is the Building <br /> Official and is the official authorized to administer and enforce the provisions of <br /> this Code. <br /> F. Section 218(j) of the 1997 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code is hereby <br /> amended by deleting the following: <br /> Plumbing System - The plumbing system means and includes all potable <br /> water supply and distribution pipes, all plumbing fixtures and traps, all drainage <br /> and vent pipe and all building drains, including their respective joints and <br /> connections, devices, receptacles and appurtenances within the property lines of <br /> the premises and shall include potable water piping, potable water treating or <br /> using equipment, fuel gas piping,water heaters and vents for same. <br /> and inserting in its place: <br /> Plumbing System - The plumbing system means and includes all potable <br /> water systems and distribution pipes, all plumbing fixtures and traps, all drainage <br /> and vent pipe and all building drains, including their respective joints and <br /> connections, devices, receptacles and appurtenances within the property lines of <br /> the premises and shall include potable water piping, and potable water treating or <br /> using equipment. <br /> G. The 1997 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code is hereby amended by deleting <br /> Chapter 12 of the Code in its entirety. <br /> H. Notwithstanding any wording in the 1997 Editions of the Uniform Plumbing <br /> Code or the Uniform Plumbing Code Standards, neither the Uniform Plumbing Code nor <br /> the Uniform Plumbing Code Standards shall apply to the installation of gas piping, water <br /> heaters, or vents for water heaters. <br /> I. An additional chapter, Chapter 15, is hereby added to the 1997 Uniform Plumbing <br /> Code to read as follows: <br /> I. IN GENERAL <br /> A.
