Section 8: The City of Everett hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence or <br /> word of this ordinance, of the codes or regulations hereby adopted be declared for any reason to be <br /> invalid, it is the intent of the City of Everett that it would have passed all portions of this ordinance <br /> and the codes independent of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared <br /> invalid. <br /> Section 9: Ordinance No. 2073-95 and all other ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> repealed. <br /> Section 10: Savings. <br /> Nothing contained in this section shall be construed as abating any action now pending under or by <br /> virtue of any ordinance of the City herein superseded; or as discontinuing, abating, modifying or <br /> altering any penalty accrued or to accrue, or as affecting the liability of any person, firm or <br /> corporation, or as waiving any right of the City under . .
