May 15, 2024 <br />2 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided updates on the following: <br />Comprehensive Plan, shopping cart recovery program, automated license reading cameras, and <br />traffic during I-5 construction last weekend. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall provided an update on the Sievers Deucy pallet shelter appeal. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin left at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8025 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$3,083,393.13 for the period ending April 27, 2024, through May 3, 2024. <br /> <br />AWARD - VAL-MATIC BUTTERFLY VALVES AND ROTORK ACTUATORS <br /> <br />To award Invitation for Bid #2024-018 Val-Matic Butterfly Valves and Rotork Actuators to <br />Ferguson Enterprises for $618,465.46, which includes Washington state sales tax. <br /> <br />AWARD - BIOSOLIDS LOADING, HAULING & LAND APPLICATION <br /> <br />To award Invitation for Bid #2024-024 Biosolids Loading, Hauling & Land Application to Elysian <br />Fields for a not to exceed the amount of $402,773.24, which is not subject to Washington state <br />sales tax. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - OVER-PRESSURIZATION SETTLEMENT <br /> <br />To authorize Mayor to Sign Over-Pressurization Settlement Agreement with Hos Bros <br />Construction Inc. <br /> <br />
