Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement November 2023 19 ADA Feature As-Built Measurements 1 The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the latitude and longitude of each 2 ADA feature as indicated on the ADA Inspection Form(s) (WSDOT Form 224-020). 3 4 The completed ADA Inspection Form(s) (WSDOT Form 224-020) shall be submitted 5 as a Type 3 Working Drawing and transmitted to the Engineer within 30 calendar 6 days of completing the ADA feature. After acceptance, the Contracting Agency will 7 submit the final form(s) to the WSDOT ADA Steward. 8 9 10 Payment 11 Payment will be made for the following bid item that is included in the Proposal: 12 13 "ADA Features Surveying", lump sum. 14 15 The lump sum Contract price for "ADA Features Surveying" shall be full pay for all the 16 Work as specified. 17 18 In the instance where an ADA feature does not meet accessibility requirements, all work 19 to replace non-compliant work and then to measure, record the as-built measurements, 20 and transmit the electronic forms to the Engineer shall be completed at no additional cost 21 to the Contracting Agency. 22 23 24 1-05.11.RTF 25 1-05.11 Final Inspection 26 27 Delete this section and replace it with the following: 28 29 1-05.11 Final Inspections and Operational Testing 30 (October 1, 2005 APWA GSP) 31 32 1-05.11(1) Substantial Completion Date 33 34 When the Contractor considers the work to be substantially complete, the Contractor 35 shall so notify the Engineer and request the Engineer establish the Substantial 36 Completion Date. The Contractor’s request shall list the specific items of work that 37 remain to be completed in order to reach physical completion. The Engineer will 38 schedule an inspection of the work with the Contractor to determine the status of 39 completion. The Engineer may also establish the Substantial Completion Date 40 unilaterally. 41 42 If, after this inspection, the Engineer concurs with the Contractor that the work is 43 substantially complete and ready for its intended use, the Engineer, by written notice to 44 the Contractor, will set the Substantial Completion Date. If, after this inspection the 45 Engineer does not consider the work substantially complete and ready for its intended 46 use, the Engineer will, by written notice, so notify the Contractor giving the reasons 47 therefor. 48 49 Upon receipt of written notice concurring in or denying substantial completion, whichever 50 is applicable, the Contractor shall pursue vigorously, diligently and without unauthorized 51 interruption, the work necessary to reach Substantial and Physical Completion. The 52
