Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement November 2023 21 The costs for power, gas, labor, material, supplies, and everything else needed to 1 successfully complete operational testing, shall be included in the unit contract prices 2 related to the system being tested, unless specifically set forth otherwise in the proposal. 3 4 Operational and test periods, when required by the Engineer, shall not affect a 5 manufacturer’s guaranties or warranties furnished under the terms of the contract. 6 7 8 1-05.14.GR1 9 Cooperation with Other Contractors 10 11 1-05.14.INST1.GR1 12 Section 1-05.14 is supplemented with the following: 13 14 1-05.14.OPT1.FR1.DOCX 15 (March 13, 1995) 16 Other Contracts Or Other Work 17 It is anticipated that the following work adjacent to or within the limits of this project will 18 be performed by others during the course of this project and will require coordination of 19 the work: 20 21 *** 22 Shore Avenue Force Main Installation may be occurring during the early 23 administration of the contract. This work will not impede access to the work area or 24 staging area. 25 *** 26 27 1-05.18.RTF.DOCX 28 Add the following new section: 29 30 1-05.18 Record Drawings 31 (March 8, 2013 APWA GSP) 32 33 The Contractor shall maintain one set of full size plans for Record Drawings, updated 34 with clear and accurate red-lined field revisions on a daily basis, and within 2 business 35 days after receipt of information that a change in Work has occurred. The Contractor 36 shall not conceal any work until the required information is recorded. 37 38 This Record Drawing set shall be used for this purpose alone, shall be kept separate 39 from other Plan sheets, and shall be clearly marked as Record Drawings. These Record 40 Drawings shall be kept on site at the Contractor’s field office, and shall be available for 41 review by the Contracting Agency at all times. The Contractor shall bring the Record 42 Drawings to each progress meeting for review. 43 44 The preparation and upkeep of the Record Drawings is to be the assigned responsibility 45 of a single, experienced, and qualified individual. The quality of the Record Drawings, in 46 terms of accuracy, clarity, and completeness, is to be adequate to allow the Contracting 47 Agency to modify the computer-aided drafting (CAD) Contract Drawings to produce a 48 complete set of Record Drawings for the Contracting Agency without further investigative 49 effort by the Contracting Agency. 50 51
