Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement November 2023 22 The Record Drawing markups shall document all changes in the Work, both concealed 1 and visible. Items that must be shown on the markups include but are not limited to: 2 3 • Actual dimensions, arrangement, and materials used when different than shown in 4 the Plans. 5 • Changes made by Change Order or Field Order. 6 • Changes made by the Contractor. 7 • Accurate locations of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water mains and other water 8 appurtenances, structures, conduits, light standards, vaults, width of roadways, 9 sidewalks, landscaping areas, building footprints, channelization and pavement 10 markings, etc. Include pipe invert elevations, top of castings (manholes, inlets, 11 etc.). 12 13 If the Contract calls for the Contracting Agency to do all surveying and staking, the 14 Contracting Agency will provide the elevations at the tolerances the Contracting Agency 15 requires for the Record Drawings. 16 17 When the Contract calls for the Contractor to do the surveying/staking, the applicable 18 tolerance limits include, but are not limited to the following: 19 Vertical Horizontal As-built sanitary & storm invert and grate elevations ± 0.01 foot ± 0.01 foot As-built monumentation ± 0.001 foot ± 0.001 foot As-built waterlines, inverts, valves, hydrants ± 0.10 foot ± 0.10 foot As-built ponds/swales/water features ± 0.10 foot ± 0.10 foot As-built buildings (fin. Floor elev.) ± 0.01 foot ± 0.10 foot As-built gas lines, power, TV, Tel, Com ± 0.10 foot ± 0.10 foot As-built signs, signals, etc. N/A ± 0.10 foot 20 Making Entries on the Record Drawings: 21 22 • Use erasable colored pencil (not ink) for all markings on the Record Drawings, 23 conforming to the following color code: 24 • Additions - Red 25 • Deletions - Green 26 • Comments - Blue 27 • Dimensions - Graphite 28 • Provide the applicable reference for all entries, such as the change order number, 29 the request for information (RFI) number, or the approved shop drawing number. 30 • Date all entries. 31 • Clearly identify all items in the entry with notes similar to those in the Contract 32 Drawings (such as pipe symbols, centerline elevations, materials, pipe joint 33 abbreviations, etc.). 34 35 The Contractor shall certify on the Record Drawings that said drawings are an accurate 36 depiction of built conditions, and in conformance with the requirements detailed above. 37 The Contractor shall submit final Record Drawings to the Contracting Agency. 38
