Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement November 2023 34 Removal and disposal of biological and physical hazards; removal of individuals 1 and encampments; removal, storage, and return of personal property; disposal 2 of unclaimed personal property; additional site assessment, notifications, worker 3 training and personal protective equipment required after the initial site cleanup 4 is completed; and site preservation Work authorized by the Engineer will be paid 5 for by force account in accordance with Section 1-09.6. 6 7 For the purpose of providing a common proposal for all bidders, the Contracting 8 Agency has entered an amount for the item “FA-Site Cleanup of Bio. And 9 Physical Hazards” in the bid proposal to become a part of the total bid by the 10 Contractor. 11 12 1-07.5.GR1 13 Environmental Regulations 14 15 1-07.5.INST1.GR1 16 Section 1-07.5 is supplemented with the following: 17 18 1-07.5.OPT1.GR1 19 (September 20, 2010) 20 Environmental Commitments 21 The following Provisions summarize the requirements, in addition to those required 22 elsewhere in the Contract, imposed upon the Contracting Agency by the various 23 documents referenced in the Special Provision Permits and Licenses. Throughout the 24 work, the Contractor shall comply with the following requirements: 25 26 1-07.5.OPT2.GR1 27 (August 3, 2009) 28 Payment 29 All costs to comply with this special provision for the environmental commitments and 30 requirements are incidental to the contract and are the responsibility of the Contractor. 31 The Contractor shall include all related costs in the associated bid prices of the contract. 32 33 1-07.6.GR1 34 Permits and Licenses 35 36 1-07.6.INST1.GR1 37 Section 1-07.6 is supplemented with the following: 38 39 1-07.6.OPT1.FR1.DOCX 40 (January 2, 2018) 41 The Contracting Agency has obtained the below-listed permit(s) for this project. A copy of 42 the permit(s) is attached as an appendix for informational purposes. Copies of these 43 permits, including a copy of the Transfer of Coverage form, when applicable, are required 44 to be onsite at all times. 45 46 Contact with the permitting agencies, concerning the below-listed permit(s), shall be 47 made through the Engineer with the exception of when the Construction Stormwater 48 General Permit coverage is transferred to the Contractor, direct communication with the 49 Department of Ecology is allowed. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining 50 Ecology’s approval for any Work requiring additional approvals (e.g. Request for 51 Chemical Treatment Form). The Contractor shall obtain additional permits as necessary. 52
