2. The Berry Line Over -The -Top pipe shall be taken out of service and the ends capped outside the window from May 1st and Sept 30th. The Berry Line Over -The -Top pipe must be taken out of service after the Berry Line and Bypass Connection Line is completed. Provide a minimum of 30 days notice to the Engineer to schedule this work. The Berry Line and Bypass Line have an allowable shutdown time of 48 hrs. Lastly, this work cannot occur if the forecasted outside temperature may reach 90 degrees Fahrenheit or above. 3. The Evergreen and Alderwood Surge Line pipe shall be taken out of service outside the window from May 1st and Sept 30th. The Evergreen and Surge Line Connections must be completed at the end of the project when Reservoir 3 is being taken offline and Reservoir 3A is put into service. Provide a minimum of 30 days notice to the Engineer to schedule this work. The Alderwood and Evergreen Surge Lines have an allowable shutdown time of 48 hrs. Lastly, this work cannot occur if winds in excess of 10 miles per hour have been forecasted to occur at any time in the shutdown duration plus an additional day following the shutdown. 4. In order to construct the Bypass Line to AWWD PS 2 connection, the City needs to drain parts of the system piping before connections to existing pipes can be made. Provide a minimum of 30 days notice to the Engineer to schedule this work. This piping work must occur outside the window from May 1st and September 30th. Connections to existing pipes must take less than 48 hours, defined by the time the pipe is taken out of service, to being placed back into service following satisfactory testing and disinfection. Lastly, this work cannot occur if the forecasted outside temperature may reach 90 degrees Fahrenheit or above.
