8. Construction Support, Project Management, and Administrative Cost Elements: <br />a. Costs under this category are sometimes informally referred to as field overhead, but <br />are Project costs rather than costs related to Contractor's general business operations. <br />b. Include in the Schedule of Values relevant line items and amounts for work and <br />services required by the General Conditions and specific Division 01 specifications <br />sections, such as: <br />1) Project management costs. <br />2) Onsite superintendence and supervision costs. <br />3) Itemized list of Work by work area for costs associated with coordination with the <br />Owner's and AWWD's operations (all three pump stations and existing Reservoir <br />3), including required sequencing. <br />4) Updating the construction Progress Schedule, preparing time impact analyses, and <br />preparing recovery schedules. Preparation of the preliminary Progress Schedule <br />and the initial baseline Progress Schedule acceptable to Engineer are part of <br />mobilization. <br />5) Construction progress photographic documentation. Preconstruction photographic <br />documentation and final photographic documentation are, respectively, part of <br />mobilization and demobilization. <br />6) Updates of the Schedule of Submittals. <br />7) Contractor's safety representative and ongoing implementation of Contractor's <br />Site -specific health and safety plan (SSHASP). Establishing the SSHASP is part of <br />mobilization. <br />8) Ongoing compliance with permits. Contractor's securing of required work permits <br />is part of mobilization. <br />9) Ongoing cost for temporary utilities and temporary facilities. Establishing such <br />services and facilities is part of mobilization. <br />10) Ongoing costs for temporary security . <br />11) Field offices (monthly rental and maintenance) and storage facilities (excluding <br />costs of establishment and removal, which are part of mobilization and <br />demobilization). <br />12) Ongoing site maintenance, such as temporary controls (dust, air pollution, water <br />pollution, solid waste control, pest and rodent control, temporary erosion and <br />sediment controls, and others), snow and ice removal, and similar activities. <br />13) Field engineering and surveying. <br />14) Progress cleaning and cleaning for Substantial Completion. <br />15) Record documents (preparation, maintenance, and submittal). <br />a) If adequate record documents are maintained, up to 50 percent of the value of <br />the record documents line item will be eligible for payment, spread evenly over <br />those progress payments in which construction at the Site is performed. <br />b) Remainder of Project record documents line item will be eligible for payment <br />when complete record documents are submitted. <br />c) If record documents submitted are unsatisfactory to Engineer, amount may be <br />reduced via set -offs. <br />16) Other items required by Engineer. <br />c. Include such items in Applications for Payment on payment schedule acceptable to <br />Engineer. <br />d. Such line items in the Schedule of Values shall exclude any and all costs associated <br />with Contractor's permanent place of business, personnel stationed at permanent <br />offices, salaries and bonuses of executive and administrative personnel not directly <br />performing work on the Project, and general business expenses, all of which are part of <br />Contractor's overhead costs. <br />1) Other mobilization acceptable to Engineer. <br />9. Submittals and Field Quality Control Payment: <br />a. Submittals: Up to 8 percent of cost (including all associated overhead and profit) of <br />each equipment item, exclusive of transportation and installation costs associated <br />therewith, may be allocated to preparation of Shop Drawings, Samples ,and other <br />Submittals required for release for purchase, fabrication, or delivery and may be <br />included in the application for payment following Engineer's approval of Shop Drawings <br />Reservoir 3 Replacement Phase 1 <br />Work Order No. UP3739 01 29 73 <br />SCHEDULE OF VALUES March 2024 <br />
