AWWD's operations, training of facility operation and maintenance personnel, checkout, <br />startup, testing, adjusting and balancing, and other factors that have the potential to affect <br />completion of the Work within the Contract time. <br />C. Scheduling Workshop Conferences: <br />1. Prior to preparing the preliminary Progress Schedule, Contractor shall participate with <br />Engineer in one]workshop conference, up to two hours in duration, to discuss technical <br />requirements relative to sequencing and organizing the Work, Progress Schedule <br />development, and Progress Schedule procedures. <br />2. Contractor and Engineer will mutually agree on the date, time, and location of scheduling <br />the workshop conference. <br />3. Required Attendees: <br />a. Contractor's project manager, site superintendent, and Progress Schedule preparer. <br />b. Engineer <br />c. Owner and AWWD staff may attend this scheduling workshop conference. <br />4. Engineer will prepare minutes of the scheduling workshop conference and distribute <br />minutes to conference attendees and others as deemed appropriate by Engineer. <br />1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Qualifications: <br />1. Progress Schedule Preparer. <br />a. Contractor shall retain services of a scheduling consultant to, or shall self -perform, <br />preparation and updating of the Progress Schedule using qualified personnel <br />experienced in: (1) construction scheduling, (2) the scheduling software required for the <br />Project, and (3) serving as Progress Schedule preparer on construction projects of <br />similar type, size, and complexity as the Project. <br />b. Progress Schedule preparer shall have not less than five years' experience using the <br />required schedule software on construction projects of similar type, size, and <br />complexity as the Project. <br />c. Prior to engaging a scheduling consultant or using a qualified, experienced employee, <br />submit to Engineer the following qualifications information: <br />1) Name, employer, and business address of proposed Progress Schedule preparer <br />and names, employers, and business addresses of personnel who will be assigned <br />to assist the preparer in developing and updating the Progress Schedule. <br />2) Information sufficient to demonstrate that proposed Progress Schedule preparer <br />and scheduling assistant personnel possess qualifications complying with this <br />Section. For each person assigned, submit list of similar type, size, complexity, <br />and construction contract amount for each project, together with project name, <br />owner, location, and dates, and names of scheduling personnel involved. <br />d. Engineer's Review of Qualifications: <br />1) Engineer will complete review of Progress Schedule preparer qualifications within <br />three days of Engineer's receipt of such qualifications. <br />2) If qualifications are unacceptable, submit qualifications of acceptable personnel <br />within five days of Contractor's receipt of Engineer's non -acceptance. <br />3) Engineer's acceptance or non -acceptance of qualifications does not reduce or <br />mitigate Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents. <br />e. If Contractor intends to replace any Progress Schedule preparer personnel previously <br />acceptable to Engineer, submit qualifications of proposed replacements per this <br />section. <br />1.06 INITIAL PROGRESS SCHEDULES <br />A. Type and Organization of Progress Schedules: <br />1. Prepare Progress Schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 software, unless other scheduling <br />software is acceptable to Engineer. <br />2. Sheet Size: 22 inches by 34 inches, unless otherwise accepted by Engineer. <br />3.
