June 5, 2024 <br />1 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., June 5, 2024, by <br />Vice President Zarlingo. <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Council Members Fosse, Rhyne, Schwab, Vogeli, Zarlingo, Bader, <br />and Tuohy were present. Mayor Franklin was excused. <br />Council Member Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Rhyne recited the land acknowledgement. <br />The minutes of the May 29, 2024, meeting were approved. <br />MAYOR <br />Mayor Franklin was excused. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Council received six (6) written comments and the following member of the public spoke: Isatou <br />Baldeh, Alan Miller, and Evan Reed. <br />COUNCIL <br />Council Member Rhyne reported on the Health and Human Service Committee meeting and her <br />attendance at the raising of the Pride Flag at the Snohomish County Campus. She requested an <br />update on the status of the proposed Project Labor Agreement ordinance. <br />Council Member Tuohy requested an update on speeding issues on Rucker Avenue. She also <br />stated Sorticulture is this weekend. <br />Council Member Vogeli provided an update from the Parks Board and commented on her <br />attendance at Arlington Pride. <br />Council Member Fosse commented on her attendance at the raising of the Pride Flag at the <br />Snohomish County Campus and Arlington Pride. She stated the Everett Housing Authority is <br />hosting a meeting on June 20 regarding the Park District. She also requested information <br />regarding the process for changing speed limits.
