011, ORDINANCE NO 2161 An Ordinance providing for the improvement of Cedar Street from 16th to 19th Street, by clearing, grubbing and grading, and making necessary water main changes, also on the west side of street, construc- tion of a drainage .ditch and concrete sidewalks 6 ft. wide, and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No.3096 of the City of Everett, creating an assessment district, creating a Local Improvement Distrilt Fund therefor, providing that said improvement be made by special asseLale t upon the property in said district under the mode of payment by bo'r e.3 _ , Whereas , by Resolution No.3096 of the City of Everett, the City Council of Everett has declared its intention to order the improve- ment of Cedar Street from 16th to 19th Street, by clearing, grubbing ani grading , and making necessary water main changes, also on the west side of street, construction of a drainage ditch and concrete sidewalks 6 ft . wide, and doing all other work necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer, now therefore, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN : Section 1 : That Cedar Street from 16th to 19th Street, be improved by clearing, grubbing and grading, and making necessary water main changes„ also on the west side of street, construction of a drainage ditch, and concrete sidewalks 6 ft . wide, and doing all other work necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improve- ment according to the plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2 : That the cost and expense of such improvement including all necessary incidental expenses shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accodence with law. Tie City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement . gam,_.
