Each Caucus Selects a Slate of Designated Alternates, in Priority Order. <br /> <br />a. Each caucus shall select a slate of designated alternates in a number equal to <br />the number of Governing Board seats allocated to that caucus. <br /> <br />b. Each caucus shall prioritize its alternates to determine the order in which the <br />alternates are called upon to participate at a Governing Board meeting in the <br />event of an absence of any Governing Board member representing the caucus. <br /> <br />Caucuses may determine their own rules for nominating and selecting Board <br />Alternates, provided that the rules set forth in Step 3.a for selecting of Board <br />Members shall apply. <br /> <br />Vacancies <br />Any vacancies shall be promptly filled by the appointing caucus, which shall meet either <br />in person or telephonically to select a replacement Board Member and/or Alternate to serve
