June 12, 2024 <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy stated she attended Sorticulture and provided an update from the <br />Cultural Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Vogeli welcomed the new firefighters and thanked public commenters. She <br />provided an update from the Built Environment Committee meeting. She also commented on her <br />attendance at the Law and Mental Health Conference. <br /> <br />Council Member Fosse welcomed the new firefighters. She stated she also attended Sorticulture. <br />She provided an update from the Multiuse Facility Fiscal Advisory Committee and stated Everett <br />Pride is this weekend. She also stated the Everett Housing Authority is hosting a meeting on June <br />20 regarding the Park District. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo welcomed new firefighters. He provided an update from the Built <br />Environment Committee meeting. <br /> <br />President Schwab commented on his attendance at the South Forest Park neighborhood <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided updates on Compass Health’s Andy’s <br />Place, Everett Police Department participation in the television show “On Patrol: Live,” and <br />speeding on arterial streets. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall welcomed the new firefighters and provided updates on the proposed <br />amendment to the Zoning Code to allow birthing centers on ground floors and the Hearing <br />Examiner decision on the pallet shelter appeal. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br />
