City of Everett 01 33 00 - 1 <br /> <br /> <br />01 33 00 - 1 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br /> <br />SECTION 01 33 00 - SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 DESCRIPTION <br />A. To ensure that the specified products are furnished and installed in accordance with the <br />design intent, procedures have been established for advance submittal of design data <br />and for its review by the Architect/Engineer. <br />B. Electronic submittals of shop drawings or other documents required for approval may be <br />substituted for paper copies. Electronic submittals must be submitted utilizing current <br />Adobe Software or as otherwise approved by Owner. All electronic submittals shall be <br />certified documents and digital signed showing Contractors review, and stamp showing <br />approval of submittal. All electronic submittals shall book marked. A table of contents <br />is required and shall be placed directly behind the cover page. Document properties <br />shall include the Job Name, Division (Section Number), and items included in submittal. <br />Prior to use of Electronic submittals, discuss with Owner, procedures and formatting <br />including any additional contents to be included within the document. <br />C. Related Work: <br />1. For individual submittals required, refer to the pertinent sections of these <br />specifications. <br />2. Section 00 72 00-2.4 <br />3. Make all submittals required by the Contract Documents, revise and resubmit as <br />required to establish compliance with the specified requirements. <br />4. Wherever possible throughout the Contract Documents, the minimum acceptable <br />quality of workmanship and materials has been defined by manufacturer’s <br />description of required attributes and performance. <br />1.2 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. Make all submittals of shop drawings, samples, requests for substitution, and other <br />similar items in strict accordance with the provisions of this section of the specifications. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 SHOP DRAWINGS <br />A. Unless otherwise specifically directed otherwise, format all shop drawings to be <br />formatted to fit on 11” x 17” size paper. Make all shop drawings accurately to a scale <br />sufficiently large enough to show all pertinent features of the item and its method of <br />connection to the work.
