Please review and respond to the comments <br /> below. <br /> 1. The project is anticipated to change due to limitations mentioned in the Planning Corrections <br /> review letter dated June 2,2022. We are unable to complete a comprehensive review. Comments <br /> have been provided to assist in revising the drawings. However, additional comments may be <br /> issued pending review of the revised drawings. See IRC Section R106.1.1. <br /> 2. Alternative options should be removed, including but not limited to the options for the wall <br /> height, building depth, and roof slope. R106.1.1 <br /> 3. The minimum alternate braced wall panel (method ABW) length with a wall height of 8 feet is 32 <br /> inches per IRC Table R602.10.5. The braced walls at the garage door location should be updated <br /> such that the braced walls comply with the prescriptive limitations of the IRC. <br /> 4. The interior finish should be specified as a minimum 1/2" gypsum wall board.The gypsum wall <br /> board may be omitted provided that the required length of bracing is multiplied by the <br /> appropriate adjustment factors in Tables R602.10.3(2) and R602.10.3(4). R602.10.4.3 <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br /> Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. <br /> Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> These initial comments are general in nature and based on preliminary information.Additional <br /> comments will typically be generated once a complete submission is reviewed. All comments are based <br /> on the 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), and/or the <br /> 2018 Washington State Residential Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and <br /> adopted by the City of Everett. <br /> These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments(such as Utilities,Traffic,Planning or Fire).
