EXHIBIT A1 <br />City of Everett – Replacement of Reservoir 3 <br />Contract Amendment No 1 6 Scope of Services <br />d) Presentation of maximum contaminant concentrations for worker contaminant exposure <br />mitigation <br />e) Presentation of soil management practices during construction including dust control, air <br />monitoring, soil storage and reuse requirements <br />f) Estimations of contaminated soil volume <br />g) Preparation of draft land use control (LUC) requirements with the intent for long-term <br />storage of PFAS-containing soils at the site. The LUCs will be designed to be protective <br />of groundwater and future construction worker exposure. This activity will include up to <br />four (4) virtual meetings with the DOE. <br />Client Responsibilities <br />1. Participate in DOE Coordination calls. <br />Assumptions <br />1. Estimates of groundwater dewatering quantities are not included. <br />2. Soil and groundwater management practices will not specify contractors means and <br />methods. <br />3. This task includes identification of but not applying for or securing permits, nor the <br />recording of deed modifications with the County, if required. <br />4. Virtual meetings with the DOE will have two HDR attendees. These meetings will be one <br />hour in duration and 2 hours is budgeted for each attendee for preparation, attendance <br />and follow-up. <br />Deliverables <br />1. Draft and Final CMP, emailed in PDF format. <br />2. Draft and Final LUC, emailed in PDF format. <br />Task 800 – Unanticipated Services – Management Reserve <br />Consultant Services <br />1. It is difficult to accurately anticipate all the issues that may arise during the development <br />of the project. This task establishes a management reserve for unidentified and <br />unanticipated work. <br />2. This task is specifically designed to allow payment to HDR under this contract for <br />changes in the scope of work which the City determines to be necessary. The funds <br />included in this task cannot be utilized without written approval for each additional task <br />from the City. <br />Client Responsibilities <br />1. When identified, authorize additional services via email and/or in other written form.
