An Ordinance amending Ordinance No.1229 of the City of Everett, entitled: "An Ordinance approving and adopting certain rules and regulations prescribed by the City of Everett, Washington, for the construction or alteration of the plumbing of any building in said city, and providing a 2 penalty for the violation of said rules and regulations." 3 by adding thereto eight new sections, to be called Sections 19A, 4 19B, 19C, 19D, 19E, 19F, 19G and 19H, permitting the use of 5 screw joint soil and waste pipes and fittings. 6 THE CITY OF EV]ETT DOES ORDAIN : 7 Section 1 : That Ordinance No.1229 of the City of 8 Everett be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto eight 9 new sections to be called Sections 19A, 19B, 19C, 19D, 19E, 19P, 10 . 19G and 19H, which said Sections shall read as follows,to-wit: 11 "Section 19A : Whenever screw joint soil or 12 ' waste pipe, is used in any building hereafter constructed in 13 1 the City of Everett, the entire system of soil, waste and vent 14 pipes from point of connection with cast iron soil waste pipe, 15 or house drain to point of connection with main vertical vent 16 line shall be of screw joint pipe and fittings. Intersecting 17 branch lines of screw joint soil or waste pipe between lines 18 1 of cast iron, soil or waste pipe and cast iron vent pipe 19 I lines will not be permitted. Branch lines of screw joint waste 20 pipes, between main or branch lines of cast iron, soil , or 21 I waste pipe and fixtures will not be permitted. 22 Section 19B : All screw joint, soil and waste 23 pipe used for the conveyance of sewage or waste liquids shall 24 .14t 4_ YLP be eit galvanized wrought iron or brass pipe.All fittings 25 and traps used in connection with screw joint soil or waste pipe 26 l 27 28 29 .•1- 30 31
