AD must be recessed drainage fittings with recessed screw hubs, All fittings and traps used in connection with wrought iron, soil and waste pipe must be cast or malleable iron drainage fittings, thoroughly galvanized inside and outside and free from defects, All fittings and traps used in connection with brass soil or waste pipe must be brass drainage fittings ; provided,however, 2 brass traps may be used in connection with wrought iron soil or 3 waste pipe when they constitute the exposed finished connection. 4 5 Section 19 C : Calked, leaded or cement joints will 6 not be permitted in any part of the screw pipe system except at 7 point of connection with cast iron s oil, waste or vent pipe or 8 house drainage; the spigot end of screw pipe may be calked into 9 I the hub of the cast iron pipe or fitting.
