The <br /> comments are restated below for your convenience followed by a response by L120 Engineering& Design. <br /> Review Comment: <br /> 1. It appears that the channel installation at helical piles 1-2,3-4,and 5 are at the garage foundation which <br /> is presumed to have a slab on grade, but on sheet SD-1.1, the detail 2 section with the continuous <br /> channel is at a foundation with a crawl space. Can you clarify the detail of the installation of the <br /> channel and revise as necessary? <br /> L120 Response: The detail of the installation of a C Channel on a slab on grade has been included <br /> in the revised plan. Please see the updated drawing package dated August 29th, 2023. <br /> 2. On sheet SD-1.1, details 2 and 3 appear to have conflicting anchorage information as detail 2 shows <br /> two anchors vertically spaced on either side of the center line of the channel while detail 3 only has an <br /> anchor at the centerline of the channel. Please revise as required for clarity. <br /> L120 Response: The previous submission contained an error by including this detail, it has been <br /> removed. Please see the updated drawing package dated August 29th, 2023. <br /> 3. On the site plan(R&R Level Survey)it indicates that an area highlighted in green is to have polyurethane <br /> foam injection, but in the calculation package, JOB PHOTOS, the garage photo indicates the home- <br /> owner will be removing and replacing the garage slab. Can you clarify if the site plan is accurate and <br /> revise as necessary? <br /> L120 Response: The Level Survey pages in the Calculation package has been revised with the <br /> polyurethane removed from the scope of work.
