Exhibit A (Scope of Work)
SCOPE OF WORK
Requesting an inspection for asbestos-containing materials and lead-containing paints
prior to future renovation. The inspection is limited to accessible areas of the interior,
exterior, and roofs of the buildings at the above referenced addresses located in
Everett, Washington (see attached Project Area Figure). The inspection does not
include equipment or supplies in the building that are not part of the building systems.
The intent of the inspection is to assist the City with communicating the presence of
lead-containing paint and the presence, location, and quantity of asbestos-containing
material (ACM) to employees, vendors, and contractors working in the buildings and to
meet the requirements for an asbestos survey for the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency
(PSCAA) and a good faith inspection as required by Washington State Department of
Labor and Industries’ Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) regulations
prior to renovation.
